You'll learn how to balance healthy carbohydrates, proteins and fats in your diet; decipher nutrition facts and food labels; and discuss the value of food journaling and learn to do it right! Journaling materials are provided.

This session will touch on the main points in his book and answer questions that arise as you read the material. Some copies of this book will be available for purchase at Body Balance Institute, so let us know if you are interested in purchasing it here.

February 16th: Food, Inc. Documentary Viewing & Discussion
Food, Inc. explores our nation's food industry exposing the highly mechanized underbelly that has been hidden from American consumers. Where is our food actually coming from? Are we really eating healthy when we think we are eating healthy? This workshop will include viewing the film followed by a 30 minute discussion. The next week will also include further discussion and how to apply this information. Plan on staying until 8pm this evening to allow time for movie and discussion. Please note that this movie contains graphic footage of the handling of animals in our food supply.
